Kimberly started her career in science and tech PR in 1995. She is delighted to be on her second adventure with Jackie Townsend Konstanturos, after honing her skills at The Townsend Agency from 1998-2000. This time her marketing experience spans PR, AR, IR and social campaigns for Fortune 500 and Global 1000 brands, as well as startups. Regardless of size, she has a passion for helping companies find and share their unique voices and earn positive sentiment. Based on her strong relationships in the editorial community, Kimberly was twice voted among the Top Tech Communicators in PRSourceCode’s annual IT journalist survey. She lives in San Francisco to maintain close ties with the media and the Silicon Valley tech and life sciences communities. She is also a PR Writing adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco and a volunteer board member for the Commonwealth Club of California’s INFORUM division.
Before joining Townsend Team she served as a VP within the technology practice of Hill + Knowlton Strategies, representing Adobe (now Marketing Cloud), Qualcomm, SanDisk and TATA Communications. At Eastwick Communications, she managed media, analyst and social campaigns for Fujitsu America, ShoreTel, and cloud, PaaS and SaaS startups. At SHIFT Communications, her roster included storage and security companies, such as Quantum and Varonis. She has also represented the Churchill Club and the Computer History Museum pro bono. She earned her bachelor’s in journalism from Castleton State College.
